Nepal Business Angels Circle (NBAC) is initiating Pitch Date with Angles on 16 September, with an intent to assist early-stage startups to find investors for their ventures. NBAC is a facilitated angel network led by Investment Circle P. Ltd.
This event supports start-ups who are looking for seed/angel funding by assisting them to connect with angel investors, venture capitalist, and investors.
Investment is one of the, if not the primary needs for entrepreneurs and startups for their venture’s sustainability and growth. Whether it is during the early days of pilot testing, for developing an initial customer base, for developing channels, building a team, or for scaling up, access to investment is the key to progress. As the interest in startups and entrepreneurship develops, there is a desperate need for access to alternative investments in early-stage ventures and companies that have a promise if met with the right assistance and support. With this understanding, Investment Circle is facilitating an Angel Network, Nepal Business Angels Circle (NBAC), to provide access to early-stage investment and mentorship to promising startups. The event, Pitch Date with Angels is one of the NBAC’s flagship program focused on bringing angel investors and startups together to discuss investment possibilities.
The participants of this event will primarily be angel investors, representatives of banks, investment companies, venture capitalists, and people who are interested to invest as an angel. Startups in their early stage of the venture will get an opportunity to connect with these investors, share their pitch and ask for seed/angel capital.
This event is primarily tailored for startups to explore investment possibilities. According to the organizers, “The 3 ideas/startups will be pitching their ideas to angels and once the Q&A session is over, it will be followed by understanding the intention of each angel investor and knowing what their additional needs will be.” Post-event one-to-one meeting between startups and interested angels will be facilitated with an intention to help realize investment pledges.
